Dacke Industri Electromen acquisition moves the Swedish industrial group deeper into intelligent electronics, adding Finnish motion-control expertise to its Air and Mechatronics division.
Dacke Industri acquired 80% of Electromen Oy on July 1, 2026. The Turku-based Finnish company designs and manufactures electronic control systems for demanding automation and motion-control applications.
Electromen will become part of Dacke Industri’s Air and Mechatronics division, within Mechatronics. Dacke Industri says Electromen’s expertise in motor-control systems and customised electronics will complement the group’s existing offer and support collaboration across the group.
Dacke Industri Electromen Acquisition Strengthens Mechatronics Portfolio
Electromen has long experience in industrial electronic engineering. The company designs and produces intelligent electronic control solutions for industrial automation and motion applications.
Its customers include automation companies and machinery manufacturers. Dacke Industri says Electromen has a strong international presence, with most sales generated across Europe.
The company is headquartered in Turku, Finland, employs about 23 people, and has annual turnover of about EUR 4 million.
“I believe this decision will give Electromen the opportunity to grow and develop for decades to come,” says Ahti Kandelin, CEO and co-owner of Electromen Oy.

Finnish Control Systems Add to Air and Mechatronics
Dacke Industri’s Air and Mechatronics division has been active in recent deals across valves, instrumentation, air technology and electronic control. Electromen adds another specialised Finnish company to that portfolio.

The deal also fits Dacke Industri’s wider pattern of buying niche engineering companies and leaving them with a high degree of autonomy. Electromen’s existing owners and leadership remain central to the business, while Dacke Industri adds long-term backing and a wider industrial network.
Dacke Industri Expands European Specialist Network
Dacke Industri is a long-term owner that invests in innovative technology companies in selected niches. The group follows a decentralised model, where companies run independently while receiving strategic guidance and development support.
Dacke Industri is owned by Nordstjernan. The group now counts 34 subsidiaries across four divisions, about 2,000 employees worldwide, and net sales of SEK 5 billion.
The Dacke Industri Electromen acquisition adds Finnish intelligent control systems to the group’s mechatronics base and strengthens its position in European automation and motion-control markets.
